Festivalis IŠ ARTI

Programme

Sounds – gestures...,
vibrant air,
wave, motion...
Merging into wholeness of rhythm and phonisms creates meaningful rising of music piece or disappears, drowns, sinks into forgetfulness...
IŠ ARTI music – MUSIC for long time...

XIVth international contemporary music festival “IŠ ARTI” invites you to keep your ears open to sound gestures, to feel and experience the meanings invoked by words of the author, and those heard live and “caught” by ourselves during the concerts in small and large halls, in open spaces and under church arcs.

Celebrating the Millennium of Lithuania the exceptional attention is given to Lithuanian composers and performers who contributed to displaying Lithuanian music in our country and in the world. That‘s why this year festival will offer 11 music premieres by Lithuanian composers. These compositions will continue their journey to the other festivals, concert programs or will be included in the programs of the performers from other countries. The guests of the XIVth festival from Germany and Slovenia also included works by Lithuanian composers into their programs.
